Advanced Financial Accounting (2020/04)
The course provides an advanced-level understanding of the theory and practice of financial accounting. The course will help students gain a comprehensive understanding of consolidated financial statements and how to prepare them. The course will teach students to understand the rationale and the research scope of advanced financial accounting, master the accounting treatment of some special businesses, improve your ability to adapt to new problems arising in accounting practice. You will focus on the accounting principles, methods and techniques that relate to particular types of business and non- business entities.
Topics covered include accounting for partnerships, consolidated financial statements, accounting for the financial effects of pension plans, accounting for taxes and other advanced topics. Attention is given to examples on current reporting practices and to the study of reporting requirements.

This course covers individual, company, partnership, LLP taxation in the
globalised business world. It also covers RPGT as well as SST. The
course aims to give the students a grasp of basic tax law in Malaysia
and China.
Commercial Law
This course is to make student learn about the basic knowledge of
Commercial law, and to understand how to deal with different issues in
different environment.
PRINCIPLES OF ACCOUNTING - RAPIAH 2020/04
This course is an introductory course of accounting. After learning the course, students are expected to understand the double-entry system in accounting, the accounting cycle, the accounting treatment of major balance sheet items, such as cash, accounts receivable, inventory, fixed assets, intangible assets, current liabilities, long-term liabilities and owners' equity. Case study will be applied to develop students’ professional judgment, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
ACC305_Auditing and Assurance
Auditing and
assurance focus primarily on the audits of finance statements and teaches the
concepts within the audit process and how to apply those concepts to the core
accounting knowledge obtained by students in previous courses in accounting
systems and in financial and managerial accounting. Students interested in
accounting careers (public, corporate, not-for-profit or government), corporate
finance, business law and business system will benefit from this course.
