The course includes the following contents: The student works with his/her advisor to identify an internship of mutual interest and prepares a significant written document or other work of scholarship that outlines the learning and professional development experiences of the internship. Extensive literature research and/or laboratory study are to be part of the internship experience on-site.
This is a course for Accounting students who are going out for their internship in 202104.
This course aims to expose
students to marine science and biotechnology-related industry practices in
preparing them for entering the job market after graduation. Students will perform
tasks or mini projects and solve problems related to marine biotechnology field.
This course gives students opportunities to experience real-world working environment, and apply the knowledge and theories they learned in classrooms to solve real-life problems. Students are expected to spend at least 8 weeks and at most 12 weeks working in a company/institution approved by the industrial training committee of the school. At the end of the internship, the student should prepare a report and submit it to the school for evaluations by members in a panel. The student would then give a oral presentation after the reports are read by the panel members.
