This course will be focus on mobile application development for two platforms, which are iOS and Android. The content will be cover Project planning, Mobile application system design (Ui/Ux and Functionality), and also database design. Students also will be exposed to the integration of mobile application development using various approaches with using IDE, Server, Database, and API.

In the final class of the course, the student should present their projects as a final assessment.

This course focuses on the basic concepts, architecture and related applications of Internet of Things. Students will learn how to setup and run an IoT network of devices.  They will cover protocols, hardware and software that is used for IoT devices.  This course will also include development of software for IoT platform.  Students are expected to complete an IoT project to show their competency at the end of the semester.

It covers a background to cloud computing technology and introduces the main manufacturers as well as the various cloud computing platform software development characteristics and specific technical details. Students are also taught programming examples, and introduced to the world's most mainstream open cloud computing application platform.

This an introductory course on Information Security. This course will introduce the students to the CIA triad, covering the fundamental security goals of confidentiality, integrity and availability, as well as, discuss the threat models, vulnerabilities, possible attack scenarios and control measures.  At the end of this course, students will be able to assess threats to the security of information in a range of practical situations, determine the information security implications of the interactions between entities in these scenarios, and apply appropriate industry standard methods to address identified information security risks.
