This course is the seconed part of Physiology for TCM students of 2021/04 senester.
“Anatomy", which belongs to the category of morphology in the biological sciences, is the study of the morphological structure of normal human body science. Systematic anatomy learning aims to help students understand and grasp normal morphology and structural characteristics of every organ system in the human bodies as well as to provide the morphological basis necessary for learning other basic medicine and preventive medicine curriculum.
Medical statistics deals with the collection, analysis, and interpretation of masses of data in medical research using the basic idea and method of Statistics. It is a fundamental subject area in modern medical research. Due to the variability of biological phenomena, various factors are perplexing. Even experimental and observational results in medical research are often affected by many factors. Therefore medical scientific conclusion can be made based on the statistics. With the availability of a wide choice of statistic software, complex statistical calculation can be solved quickly and conveniently. Medical students should understand and be familiar with the basic idea, methods and applications of statistics, and be able to read the results of data analysis correctly. This course mainly introduces the principle and method of medical statistics based on medical events, free of the complicated calculation process. Thus the course focuses on developing students' statistical analysis thinking to enhance their skills to conduct scientific researches in their professional study and clinical practice.
Introducing causes and treatment of common fractures Orthopaedics science of TCM covers an overview of its development history, concepts and principles. Other topics to be widely touched are etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of orthopaedic injuries and diseases. It also deals with trauma management, and the various TCM therapy to fracture, dislocations, tendon injuries, internal injuries, bone disease and other diseases related to orthopaedic.
Internal medicine of TCM is a critical clinical course, bridging the basic theory of TCM to all other clinical courses. This course, together with clinical practice, will greatly enhance the knowledge and understanding of TCM in its theoretical form. All clinical courses embrace internal medicine of TCM as the basis to an effective practice. The course include the following parts:
Introduction, Internal medicine of TCM pathogenesis of diseases, The basic pathogenesis of TCM internal medicine disease and Internal medicine of TCM dialectical treatment programs.
To provide a fundamental foundation for students to know TCM in deep detail which entails the complete history from origin until what TCM is today. The knowledge is to develop appreciation and to value TCM, nurturing students to be passionate about TCM, at the same time, to be outward-looking to challenges and developments taking place that impacts TCM.
