One focus of this course is on contemporary British and the meaning of being "British" or "British-ness". Is there an over-arching or unified
British identity of culture? If there is, what are the manifestations of this in British history, politics, culture, values, literature, art forms, among
others. In what way(s) is/are being British different from the culture and identities of other English-speaking countries such as the U.S.A,
Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa ,etc.. The other focus of this course is to investigate the history of ideas underlying the
writings and practice in the fields of politics, religion, science, philosophy, social science, art literature and economics in America. Students
will learn about how these American ideas help to form the culture of the American society and how they influence the intellectual arena and
lives of the American people.

This course introduces the relationship between psychological phenomenon, health
and diseases. It focuses on researching the role of psychological factors in somatic
diseases and the use of psychological techniques to diagnose and prevent disease,
while promoting health. More specifically, it aims to produce students who understand
the practice of medical psychology and the relationship between doctors and patients;
who are able to grasp the basics of psychological phenomenon, mental development
and mental health; who are familiar with common abnormal psychology; and achieve
a holistic concept of medicine.
This course will provide an introduction to students on the history of modern medicine, an overview on professionalization, specialization and industrialization of medicine from 1800 to present. Concepts will cover: the responsibility of medical practioners; the understanding of healing and suffering; surgery and the role of anesthesia; the study of human anatomy; improved diagnostic techniques; cells and microbiology; public health and ethics.
This course serves as the introduction for the students to begin .NET design and implementation. Thus, first of all, we provide the C# introduction. The students could understand the basic C# Syntax and Lib usage. Then, we introduce the basic controls, objects, and technologies in .NET. Last, we introduce Advanced .NET techs, namely XML, LINQ, AJAX, etc. In the final class, the student should present their projects as assessments.

able to appreciate. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to appreciate at a basic level the financial markets they are likely to
encounter in a general business environment.
This course introduces about the drugs, drug use and misuse from a variety of perspectives such as behavioral, pharmacological, historical, social, legal, and clinical which will help students to connect and gives awareness. In this course, students will review the different types of drugs, drug-related mortalities, drug abuse, drug toxicity, factors that cause drug addiction and their preventive measure. We will also analyze and evaluate the role of media source of drug information. Students can build their critical thinking skills to study topics such as alcohol advertising, prescription drugs and the presentation of cigarette smoking in films. This course will examine the controversies surrounding a growing number of people in prison for drug-related offenses.
