MPU 4.1 Community Service 2021/09
This course studies the concept of community involvement projects, preparation of proposals and the characteristics of effective project.
The aim of this course is to provide an understanding and appreciation of community involvement in the project. Teaching and learning will be conducted in the form of interactive lectures, group discussions, experiential learning through group activities and volunteer spirit.
At the end of the course, students are expected to adopt the values and ethics, leadership and teamwork and social responsibility.

It is a lifelong living skill useful during the course of study, as well as after graduation and in a workplace.

The objectives of this course are to:
To introduce basic compositional concepts, such as rhetorical triangle, structuring, paragraphing, and the four Cs: Concision, Clarity, Continuity and Coherence.
To develop students’ written communication skills needed for a variety of contexts such as to inform and to persuade.
To enhance understanding and use of different forms of written communication which are commonly used by professionals at the workplace.
