This course serves as an introduction to the student in this cyber security programme. It provides a basic introduction to various aspects of cyber security, including policy and procedures, security management and operations, and technical issues. In this course, the students will learn basics of secure network, software, and communication technologies. Students will also learn the role of management, planning, implementation, and improvement strategies in various aspects of cyber security for achieving the goal of an enterprise organization. Completing this course will enable the students to identify, assess cyber security vulnerabilities in real-world scenarios, and mitigate and manage security risks by adopting appropriate industry standard policies, procedures, and control measures.
