This course is an introduction to German language and culture. It is designed for students with little or no knowledge of German language or
culture.In this course, students will develop fundamental oral and written skills in German. The fundamentals of German pronunciation,
grammar, and culture are presented through a balanced development of all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. It provides
typical themes, grammar and vocabulary fields for German learning beginners
Based on a up-to-date English textbook on American presidents since the World War II, this course provides 13 chapters from F.D.
Roosevelt to Barack Obama in the course of demonstrating their early life, the road to the Presidency, the administration and the private life.
It aims at providing a special and vivid approach to modern American history by thoroughly studying their presidents. In course of teaching,
some associated movies and videos will also be provided to students so as to make the class more attractive and interesting. Students will
not only get to know American history by means of its presidents, but also improve their English in both textbook learning and classroom
activities
The humanity is gearing towards 17 Sustainable Development Goals as agreed by over 180 countries at the United Nations in the year 2015. There is a tremendous potential for the youth to capitalize on the numerous business opportunities that have unfolded as a result. The key objective of this course is to offer students the broad picture of entrepreneurship with a special focus on start up eco-systems. This course would enable students to practically identify business opportunities and relate them to sustainable development goals. Hands on sessions supported by seminars, case studies, guest lectures and practical (group and individual) exercises would enable students to create value proposition canvas, business model canvas, minimum viable product (MVP) and cash flow projections. The culmination of all the activities would finally lead students to pitch their business ideas to potential investors as the final assessment.
This course will introduce and expose students to the interpretation of film through a consideration of the ways in which film style influences the meaning of individual films. Concentrating on evaluative and interpretive film analysis through application of film approaches, this course intends to highlight film writing which tends to be less interested in advertising cinema and concentrates on what narratives a particular film may have, appreciating its forms and functions.
| This course trains students' ability to deliver scientific talks, engage in a debate, and/or business idea presentation in English and provide them with practical training to do interactive discussion in the format of seminar or debate, where question and answer sessions are available between presenters/debaters and their class audience. As a facilitator, I will mentor them how to improve their English presentation through weekly practical trainings. At the end of the course, students are expected to master professional skills not only to convey their presentation in simple and clear language, but they are also easily to be understood in professional settings |

This course provides an intensive examination of theories, methods of investigation and current developments in the area of
interpersonal communication, and focuses on the process of interpersonal communication as a dynamic and complex system of interactions. It stresses the importance of understanding and of applying interpersonal communication theory in work, family, and social relationships.
This course is designed for students who have previously taken Beginning and Intermediate German courses. On the one hand, it
focuses on communicative competence and linguistic functional ability. The lessons cover grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation as
well as skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. On the other hand, the focus of this course will be on real-life language use, the
integration of German and Germanic culture and language, and the acquisition of the four skills: reading, listening, writing, and speaking.
Students will practice spoken German in a variety of contexts and will develop communicative tactics and vocabulary to improve oral
expression and conversation. Through a variety of activities, students will improve their phonetic production while developing vocabulary
and the capacity to express ideas in a myriad of functional settings. Topics may include: Germanic culture, current events, travel, music,
and sports. Through the development of successful reading, writing, speaking, and listening comprehension skills, the students will
reach the advanced-level in German learning. In order to achieve a much greater effect, instructor will adapt the content of this course to
students’ needs.
This course is the continuation of work begun in Beginning German. It is designed for students who have previously taken German
course LGS004. In this course, students will learn how to express themselves and communicate more effectively in German. Students
will review what they have already studied and further develop their ability to speak, read and write in German by listening and using the
language to communicate with each other. More topics about German culture will be explored.
This subject exposes the students to the philosophy of education and the connections between them. Consequently, some of the most important theoretical movements of the twentieth century in the field of Education Psychology are introduced and discussed. This subject also sharpens students’ philosophical understanding of education. The module will cover the concept of education, Indoctrination, self-determination, and creativity as well.
This course will give key insights on aspects of globalization, its effect on environment and uneven global development. Students will be able to identify the pros and cons of globalization and its effect on cultures around the world. Important key features of industrialization, food insecurity and sustainable development goals will be discussed and analyzed.
This course will cover the historical development of astronomy, starting from the development of various models of our Universe, the discovery of gravity, the Space Race, the different space missions and their implications, all the way up to the latest advancements in the field.

At the end of this course, students are able to:
• Increase knowledge of Organizational Behavior (OB) concepts, understand and analyze how organizations
as well as the people within them work.
• Provide opportunities to apply OB concepts to real-world problems faced by managers.

information to accomplish organizational goals under conditions not entirely in their control. Leaders
must successfully be able to diagnose problems, communicate clearly, make effective decisions,
motivate and influence others, manage diversity, and drive organizational change.
