Kursus ini menawarkan kemahiran berbahasa dari aspek mendengar, bertutur, membaca dan menulis sesuai dengan tahap intelek pelajar. Tujuan kursus ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kecekapan berbahasa dalam konteks rasmi dan tidak rasmi. Pengajaran dan pembelajaran akan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk kuliah, tutorial, tugasan, aktiviti kebahasaan, main peranan (role-play), ujian dan peperiksaan. This course is important to advance students’ professional written communication skills needed for a variety of contexts and functions, including reports, proposals, resumes, memos and letters. It is a toolkit of writing skills and strategies for students to communicate clearly, grammatically correct and persuasively in various types of written professional communications. It is a lifelong living skill useful during the course of study, as well as after graduation and in a workplace.

This course studies the concept of community involvement projects, preparation of proposals and the characteristics of effective project.
The aim of this course is to provide an understanding and appreciation of community involvement in the project. Teaching and learning will be conducted in the form of interactive lectures, group discussions, experiential learning through group activities and volunteer spirit.
At the end of the course, students are expected to adopt the values and ethics, leadership and teamwork and social responsibility.
The course encompass a broad area about Malaysia covering her history, her multi-cultural society, the process of nation building and the system of Government. It also contains Malaysia’s socio-cultural, political and economic development, including religious developments in Malaysia where Islam is the mainstay of a multi religion Malaysia. Other areas touched are the Constitution and Malaysia’s main national and international policies, as well as her role and contributions in the international arena.
