FIA3291 Basics of Statistics for August 2025 semester.
FIS1191 Statistics for Science for April 2025 semester.
Intruducing basics Thermodynamics and Modern Physics
The course introduces students to techniques in discrete mathematics that are widely used in science and engineering. Students are taught how to think logically and mathematically by learning logic and proof, graph and number theories as well as recursion so that they can apply these techniques to solve problems.
The course covers more advanced topics in mathematics namely trigonometry, complex number, infinite series, differential equations, conics, parametric equations and polar coordinates, and vectors and the geometry of space.
FIS3052 Chemistry II - Lecturer & Tutorial Study Materials 2024/12 Chong Yie Kie
At the end of the semester, students will be able to:
- Describe the fundamental theories and general concepts of chemical reactions.
- Solve problems related to chemistry.
- Perform simple guided experiments in chemistry.
- Demonstrate good scientific ethics and honesty in completing assigned work
The course will allow the students to describe theories and concepts of physics, whisch further will allow them to solve problems related to physics. Able to perform simple guided experiments and demonstrate good scientific ethics and honesty in completing the assignment works.
