This a core course for Chemical Engineering students.
This is core course for Chemical Engineering student.
This course provides a more detailed and advanced knowledge in conducting chemical engineering experiment that require students to apply their understanding in theoretical class to be used in this course. 3 main part in this course is Reaction Engineering, Unit Operation and Mass Transfer that consist of 7 experiments. It combine Open-ended Lab and Guided lab session.
This course will combine knowledge and skills to conduct various chemical engineering experiments, tabulate and interpret data, analyze results and prepare reports.
The course covers the various reactors design, the fundamentals of chemical reaction engineering principles and applications in process development. It teaches the evaluation of reaction rates from mechanisms and experimental data, quantification of pertinent transport effects and application to reactor design.
The course is the second stage of the final year research-oriented project. The course aims to enhance students research capabilities in the process of conducting experiments or simulation works, performing research project independently, writing the research report and presenting the research findings.
This course gives students to have basic idea on classifying materials (e.g. nanomaterials, metals, alloys, ceramics and polymers) according to the structure, properties, characteristics and processing of materials toward diverse applications.
This course will provide fundamental knowledge on three modes of heat transfer, heat transfer correlations and application.
This course provides the fundamental principles and practice of analytical chemistry. It covers topics such as sampling, sample preparation, and quantitative analysis techniques.
