2025 - 2026
Medical ethics is an essential component of medicine curriculum. It is designed with the purpose of delivering ethical theories and practical skills for medical students to be able to identify, analyze, and resolve ethical problems arising from clinical settings and the wider biomedical context. It is expected that by mastering ethical principles and skills, medical students would be able to choose between options and conduct things that ought to be done for a given patient in a given clinical settings in an ethical warranted manner. Moreover, this course helps students gain insights into the patient-physician relationship from the patient’s perspective as well as the physician’s, so that a harmonious relationship between doctors and patients can be expected. Finally, by introducing this course to students in pre-clinical year, we hope to make the transition from a morally responsible student to a morally responsible physician more logical, more meaningful, and more certain.

2025 - 2026

First aid refers to the emergency or immediate care provided when a person is injured or ill until full medical treatment is available. For minor conditions, first aid care may be enough. For serious problems, first aid care should be continued until more advanced care becomes available. The decision to act appropriately with first aid can mean the difference between life and death. This course gives a basic introduction to the condition or emergency situation, then describes the common signs and symptoms and first aid treatment. The list of signs and symptoms focuses on the key features of the condition so you can recognize it and offer the appropriate initial first aid treatment.

Internal medicine of TCM is a critical clinical course, bridging the basic theory of TCM to all other clinical courses. This course, together with
clinical practice, will greatly enhance the knowledge and understanding of TCM in its theoretical form. All clinical courses embrace internal
medicine of TCM as the basis to an effective practice. The course include the following parts: Introduction, The basic cause and
pathogenesis of TCM internal medicine disease, Syndrome differentiation and treatment of TCM internal medicine disease.

2025 - 2026
It is a compulsory course to prepare medical students to be a competent doctor of TCM. Through this course, students will value the need to
continually seek knowledge and information to enhance their professional practice and development.
The course will provide targeted training for students. Based on this targeted training to reinforce proper and correct use of the four TCM
diagnostic methods namely syndrome differentiation analysis, treatment methods, prescriptions and medical records, which are the
cornerstone to good TCM clinical skills. Students will achieve enhanced knowledge of the principle of diagnosis and treatment of the clinical
