This course introduces key developments in AI history and basic concepts of machine learning, and guides students to explore how AI technologies are being applied in various sectors of society. It focuses on examining some of the major social, economic, political, ethical, and philosophical issues related to AI, while encouraging students to develop the ability to critically reflect on the complex relationship between technological advancement and societal progress.
