This course will cover the historical development of astronomy, starting from the development of various models of our Universe, the discovery of gravity, the Space Race, the different space missions and their implications, all the way up to the latest advancements in the field.
This is an introductory course on business analytics and provides a practical overview of how businesses use data to make informed decisions and gain a competitive edge by exploring the concepts of data collection, data quality, descriptive statistics, predictive analytics and data visualization.
The course prepares students for machine learning in Python and help students develop a good understanding of applying Python to business applications. This course prepares students to create, manage, and lead design within business and innovation-driven environments. It explores the intersection of design, business strategy, leadership, sustainability, and technology, equipping students with the skills to effectively manage creative projects and teams. Through case studies, practical exercises, and project-based learning, students will gain hands-on experience in design thinking, branding, UX/UI, business strategy, and innovation.
By the end of the course, students will develop a comprehensive business pitch that integrates design with entrepreneurial and management principles.

This is a fun course on the intersection between art and science. It aims to introduce to students the similarities between art and science and how they integrate to promote the development of each other, although traditionally they are viewed as vastly different areas. This course will enhance the students’ view of creativity, beauty and enthusiasm, their apprehension of art and science works in terms of transdisciplinary nature, which will be beneficial to the individual careers of the students, regardless of their major fields.
This course is an introduction to German language and culture. It is designed for students with little or no knowledge of German language or culture. In this course, students will develop fundamental oral and written skills in German. The fundamentals of German pronunciation, grammar, and culture are presented through a balanced development of all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. It provides typical themes, grammar and vocabulary fields for German learning beginners.

The course introduces students to English novels and short stories written in 18th and 19th centuries. The students will critically examine the constituent elements of the novels and the short stories, including the social, cultural, historical and religious contexts, as well as the characters, plot and setting.
The humanity is gearing towards 17 Sustainable Development Goals as agreed by over 180 countries at the United Nations in the year 2015. There is a tremendous potential for the youth to capitalize on the numerous business opportunities that have unfolded as a result. The key objective of this course is to offer students the broad picture of entrepreneurship with a special focus on start up eco-systems. This course would enable students to practically identify business opportunities and relate them to sustainable development goals. Hands on sessions supported by seminars, case studies, guest lectures and practical (group and individual) exercises would enable students to create value proposition canvas, business model canvas, minimum viable product (MVP) and cash flow projections. The culmination of all the activities would finally lead students to pitch their business ideas to potential investors as the final assessment.
