The course introduces students to techniques in discrete mathematics that are widely used in science and engineering. Students are taught how to think logically and mathematically by learning logic and proof, graph and number theories as well as recursion so that they can apply these techniques to solve problems.

The course introduces students to e-commerce and its importance in driving the sale and marketing of goods and services in this digital and virtual age.
